Hello fellow beauty bloggers!
While I have always had an interest in makeup, skincare and all things beauty; my makeup obsession did not truly hit me until my past fall semester of college. It may have been all the gorgeous products I saw in London or the fact that I did not have a television, so instead I resorted to watching beauty reviews on YouTube. Yes, you heard that right. I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to study abroad in London my fall semester of my junior year. It was a life changing experience and I believe that I am a better person because of my journey there.
Anyways, back to the reason I decided to start a YouTube channel and blog. It occurred to me a few months ago that I watch an absurd amount of beauty bloggers in my spare time. The hauls, reviews, and tutorials are so interesting, but what got me hooked were the people. My current subscriptions on YouTube consist of people who I have found a connection with while watching their channels. I feel like I know them even though I have never met them, they each inspire me for different reasons. Each of them inspire me to follow my dreams and what I am passionate about. So I asked myself, why not start my own channel? I hope to find an audience to inspire like my beauty YouTubers have inspired me.
It may sound silly, but makeup is something that I have found a passion for. I love finding new products that are even better than products I already owned. It gets me giddy inside to go to Target, Sephora, ULTA, or any place that has beauty products. The little or big bag from these places gives me such joy, even if it is only one new lipstick.
I turned to YouTube as a place to share my love of all things beauty rather than talking all my friend's and boyfriend's ears off like I have been. I hope that you enjoy reading my blog and watching my channel as I am embark on my new journey in the beauty world.
